  • Numbers that don't rub off. Ever.

Sick of replacing single use syringes because the numbers wear off after a couple uses? Same. That's why DoseBuddy has etched numbers that won't rub off.

  • Mess-free cap.

With a syringe that doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, you have to pour medicine into another vessel and then suck it up without knocking it all over the bench. Sounds like time you don't have. Our mess free cap fits snug with our syringe so you get a mess free dose, right to the bottom of the bottle.

  • Soft silicone sleeve.

Our unique silicone sleeve makes DoseBuddy soft and safe for gums! We know it can be a battle to get little ones to open wide but the tapered tip means you can slide DoseBuddy in easily while the moulded grip makes it comfortable for you to hold.

I've just thrown away a drawer full of old syringes that had the numbers worn off and replaced them with my DoseBuddy. This is amazing!

I actually can't fathom how I've managed without this for so long. This will be in my medicine kit forever. It's just made things so much easier.

FAQs

What exactly is DoseBuddy?
DoseBuddy is a 10 ml reusable, parent-designed syringe kit for giving liquid medicine to babies and kids. It’s made with a tempered glass barrel, food-grade silicone sleeve and cap, and a BPA-free plastic plunger. It’s sturdier than the cheap ones you get with the bottle, the numbers don’t rub off, and it helps you reach medicine at the bottom of the bottle. Less mess, less stress.

What materials is DoseBuddy made from?
DoseBuddy uses durable, high-quality materials chosen for safety, longevity, and ease of cleaning:

  • A tempered glass barrel that’s strong, smooth, and resists scratches.
  • Food-grade silicone sleeve, bung, and cap — soft on gums and easy to clean.
  • A BPA-free plastic plunger, designed for a precise fit and lasting performance.

No harmful nasties, no disposable plastic syringes — just materials built to last and to make medicine time a little less rubbish.

How do I clean DoseBuddy?
Wash with warm soapy water or pop it in the dishwasher (top rack). It’s built to last through the usual chaos of family life.

Can DoseBuddy go in the dishwasher?
Yes — you can give it a quick hand wash with hot, soapy water, or pop it in the dishwasher (top rack). The materials are durable and easy to clean.

How does the cap work?
The silicone cap is designed to fit snugly on most children’s liquid medicine bottles. Attach it, flip the bottle, and draw up your dose straight through the cap — no extra pouring or mess.

Does the DoseBuddy cap replace the usual medicine bottle lid?
No. The DoseBuddy cap has a small hole for the syringe, so it doesn’t keep medicine sealed and it isn’t child-proof. Always replace your medicine’s original cap straight after use.

Are there different sized caps?
Not at the moment. The cap is designed to fit the most common medicine bottle necks and has some natural flex thanks to the silicone.

If your bottle has a smaller neck, you can use DoseBuddy without the cap. For larger necks, use DoseBuddy like a regular syringe (only better, because the numbers won’t rub off).

We don’t guarantee the cap will fit every bottle and can’t offer refunds for cap-fit issues.

Are there different sized syringes?
DoseBuddy currently comes in a 10 ml size — perfect for most children’s liquid medicines. We may look at adding other sizes in the future, depending on demand.

Is DoseBuddy compatible with ENFit feeding tubes?
Not yet. We’ve had lots of messages from medical parents asking about this, and it’s something we’re exploring for future versions.

A message from our founder.

My name is Sasha. I'm an ordinary mum of two.

I always hated dealing with crappy syringes while giving my kids medicine. I was sick of the numbers wearing off and having to buy new ones all the time. I was waiting for someone to come up with a solution when I realised that it had to be me.

Only someone who looks after small humans can understand the problem and care this much about the solution.

I set off on a journey that has involved months of hard work, consulting medical professionals, working through regulations and ensuring DoseBuddy is both effective and safe.

I'm over the moon to finally be able to share DoseBuddy with the world. I hope it helps a ton of families.

Thank you for your support.
