How DoseBuddy started
It all started in my kitchen one night. My son had a fever and I needed to give him some paracetemol. I opened my drawer to find a syringe and found a pile of useless ones with all the numbers worn off.
The next day, I went searching for a better, reusable syringe. There wasn't one.
Instead of saying "oh man, that sucks" and moving on like a normal person, I decided to go ahead and create one myself.
Do I come from a medical background? No. I'm a kiwi mum of two with a background in marketing. But I do have a ruthless stubborn streak that meant I wasn't going to give up.
After many many prototypes and a few extra grey hairs, DoseBuddy was created. A reusable liquid medicine syringe with numbers that never rub off and an innovative cap for mess free doses right to the bottom of the bottle.
Let's be real. Some parts of parenting really suck. Like having sick kids. At DoseBuddy we're on a mission to make the sucky parts of parenting suck a little less.
Simple as that.
